The app Jeffrey was born from an idea I had with a friend on my balcony. It was a simple concept: connect concierge service consumers with their service providers instantly through a mobile application. First I created a model on my computer and then tried to code it in Swift (for IOS smartphones). We then sought to pitch our project to investors and managed to raise 750,000 euros in seed at the end of the summer of 2017.
We then set up a design and development team in Barcelona to control our costs better and we set up a fully functional, secure and intuitive application. Our investor wanted to open it in several cities, which was a complicated challenge, but we did release the app in Paris, Barcelona, Dubaï and Montreal.
In these cities, the sales and marketing development teams took over to make our concept better known.
Unfortunately, after 1 year of continuous testing & marketing, we reached the end of our finances and had to put the project on stand-by. Maybe it's just a postponement?
